I received a solicitation from a company by the name of First National Credit, stating they would give me a $15,000 credit card limit.in order to receive this credit card, though, I had to send in $37.00, for a processing fee.
I thought, since I wanted to re-establish my credit, that would be great. WRONG! I sent in my check for the amount of $37.00 on April 15 and NEVER received the credit card promised to me, and it is now August 13. I know that this company cashed my check because I went to my bank for a copy of it.
I wrote this company a letter on August 12th and I also put in a copy of the cashed check and informed them of what was going on! I would like to see them either refund me $37.00 OR give me the credit card I was promised!
P.S.
This was a response that I got back from first National Bank. I sent them an e-mail regarding my concern. However; I was looking on the internet and First National Credit stated that they were provided by first National Bank.
Dear Customer:
Thank you for contacting First National Bank regarding your inquiry. Unfortunately, we are not affiliated with First National Credit Card. They can be contacted at (605) 782-3448. I apologize for the confusion; we do not have a toll-free number on file for them.
