Promotional financing said "no interest or fees if balance paid within 90 days." balance was paid within 60 days, but received late payment fees, interest and penalties, and while company was "looking into the matter, " fees and penalties continued to accrue on account which was paid in full. And, the post office told me to track a payment sent via express mail. The mail was received at g.E. Money bank's post office box on may 26, which was in fact a saturday and may 28 was a holiday, but g.E. Money bank did not accept the payment on may 29 which was a regular business day. This means that they can once again charge me a penalty, late fees and accrued interest on those late fees.
I am filing a small claims action but know in my heart of hearts g.E. Money bank is doing this to many, many others.
They need to be stopped!
