I have been divorced for 2 years Wells Fargo knew this in 03. Sometime in late 2005 early 2006 they gave my ex husband a 30K home equity line of credit without me knowing about it. He does not and has not lived here. He is currently 5 months behind on this loan as of today. Wells Fargo are threatening a lein against the property as this was used for collateral. Yet he never paid for any taxes on the house or mortgage pymnts 2 1/2 years to build up the equity. They are constantly calling this residence looking for him. I advised them Has not lived here You are to be contacting my Lawyers. Which are not cheap. I cannot sell my house as it would put me in a negative balance as well. The house is only 3 yrs old.
Do not deal with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
