They state I owe Mitsubishi $18,000.00, but Mitsubishi states I do not, and my credit rereport rating is excellent. They act like bullies

My husband passed away 12-07, This company continues to call me regarding money they said I owe Mitsubishi, but Mitsubishi states I owe them nothing. I have a present loan with Mitsubishi that is great standing witht hem, and my carecit report reflects an escellent credit rating.

This company continues to call me at night, during work hours, a I have even had my boss speak to them. The said I owe $18,000.00, but if I pay them $9000.00 right away they will stop calling me.
How can they get away wtih this?
