Please, please check this site out before ever using it... They claim to be able to have your tax return loan to you in 24 hours or at least they make you think that is a real fact if your are approved for the loan. This was my first time using this type of on-line service. I checked to see if their name was listed with the BBB but could not find it so figured it would be safe. Was I ever wrong. I normally would not have paid someone to do what I can do for free on the internet had I not been needing the money badly — in 24 hours!!! This 24 hour tax refund site are actually SGR Associates and are in conjunction with the Republic Bank.
I filled out all of the tax forms as required with the necessary information and thought I would have a RAL (refund anticipation loan) in 24 hours. Well it seems I was not approved. Here is where I start to get second thoughts about this company. I tried several times to call the number listed on their web site and you never, ever get to talk to a real person it is only a recording saying that the mail box is full to please call back. So I do several times — with the samething every time. Next I start sending e-mail messages and never get a reply. So I see a phone number for the Republic Bank - tax refund section — and I call them. They do answer and I explain my situation, the lady at the bank takes down my name and social security number and then she in turn reaches the Tax Service and they automatically download all of my information — I wanted to cancel at this time because I could see that there was something wrong with this tax service. But I called the bank lady back and she said my file had been downloaded however I was not approved for the loan. I said wow, that was a fast decision not to approve my loan. I asked her why, but ofcourse, she could not tell me why, but I will be receiving a letter as to why I was not approved. So now it has been over two weeks and my State refund was not directly deposited into My checking account instead it was directly deposited into Republic Bank's account and they deducted so far $134.00 dollars — $35.00 of this was for them to re-issue me an electronic deposit into my account of which, I still do not have.
The Republic Bank person said the bank can keep it anywhere from 1 to 4 days before it is deposited into my account that costs me $35.00. I have not heard anything from my federal tax refund, but suppose it will be the same type charge for this. I could have done this on-line, just as I did with 24 Hour Tax Service, for free and my refund would have been deposited directly into my account — I would have already had my money and this service would not have cost me anything. This company's customer service sucks — their is no customer service and they false advertise a 24 hour refund. They lure all those taxpayers that are needing a fast refund - 24 hour into using their service only to find out that they have never given a 24 hour refund loan deposited into a customers account within 24 hours — but they sure want you to believe that they can do this. I also believe that Republic Bank and SGR Associates are partners in this underhanded tax service. They take your tax money, promise you a refund in 24 hours, and do not tell you the total costs of their services. What you get from them is a loss of $135.00 money, no 24 hour loan money, and they get your tax refund deposited into their account. This is a horrible, horrible tax service. Please check into this — they should not be allowed to make people believe they are going to have their loan approved and deposited into their account in 24 hours... You get your refund much sooner at no cost if you use any of the other IRS e-file online sites.
Again please check this out — they are terrible... Taking people's money — suckering them in with the 24 hour loan refund... Bull...
