LLP fraudulent billing-unless sent by return receipt mail they hold the payment and account it late and charge interest on late pmt

Unless I send payment by check and return receipt mail my payment is counted late and interest charged. I sent payment by bank transfer on January 2 and received a call from a collector on January 12. I have a bank confirmation. On January 12 it was still not credited to my account but put in as "pending". They do this regularly.
