I am so grateful I came upon this web site, I had to see if others were going through the same thing we were. We refinanced with Wells Fargo in Feb. We were told that our payment would be around $1450 then on the day of close, we were informed that amount didn't include taxes (on the day of CLOSE) We were caught between a rock and a hard place. They said our payment would be $1666 with taxes.
Now our payment is going up even more because our taxes went up so our "New Payment" will now be $1750.
I have spoken with them numerous times but get nowhere. We owe for Oct, Nov, Dec and now Jan. We have the money, but they are telling us that unless we have "All" the money now including Jan they cannot accept the payment as it is a partial payment.
I lay awake at night wondering how we are going to fix this. My Husband is the only income as I have medical problems which have put us behind. I truly think that Wells Fargo just wants to foreclose on us and not think a thing of it. I almost forgot we were charged 3.25% for a "loan discount" to the tune of $6,240.00 tacked on to our mortgage. I could go on and on but it would just bring me to tears. Avoid Wells Fargo at all costs.
