Poor business practices

We had washington mutual as our mortagage company, in Sept we refinanced with a new company wa mu should have closed our account out Sept. 22nd, per their paperwork, however it was never closed and for the last 3 mos they have continued to debit my checking account, causing me to be out $1800. Not to mention I have incurred over $2000.in bounced check fees because of the withdwraws they continue to take. They have agreed to refund the $1800. However I feel they should be responsible for the other expenses I have incurred due to their lack of promptness.
