After my son received the check he contacted the phone number on the check and the representative informed him that there was no hold on the check and that it was a valid check. After cashing the check against my account (my son is a minor under the age of 16) this company put a stop payment on the check, and now my bank is charging me for the amount of the check.
I spoke with Patrick Odusey (Account Manager) who stated that he would make good with the check within 72 hours which he never did. After contacting him again he informed me that this was a scam and that was how he made money, and that I should report it to the police, and my bank.
