I have applied with Better Business Bureau of Northwest. The case #xxx57. I am inquiring about service with American Fidelity Life Insurance Company in Pensacola Floriday. He was in the Air Force at that time. My Dad gave me the Life insurance policy and see what I could do. So I checked with the internet on the life insurance. They had some forms and notice that I could withdraw my 2,000. This policy was in July 1959.
I got a letter saying the policy expired in August 1969 and it is no longer has a value or benefit. I showed to my Dad and he said that he never received the letter saying it expired and it can't be proven because my Dad had the cancelled checks and he dosen't have them anymore, He paid 39.40 annually. I think they ripped my Dad off. I felt they they betrayed my dad and the money I was going to use for my son. I am nervous about life insurance and the future.
I am disappointed in American Fidelity Life Insurance Company. The policy number is #xx3 A, it was insured to Carol D by Harvey D. I am now Carol D. Please warn other especially the military people not to use this insurance. I have papers of the insurance that I can fax to you. My mother in law has a fax machine and I use theirs. Thank you
