We have a problem and need help. Wells Fargo filed a satisfaction of lien on our property back in January of 2004. There was a equity line of credit taken out on our home in 05 there was no other loan shown at the time.
We tried to refinance in jan of 06. That is when we found that Wells Fargo was trying to foreclose on the home and asked the courts that the lien be reinstated. They say the satisfied lien was filed incorrectly. We paid an attorney to fix this and the case was dismissed voluntarily by Wells Fargo.
Now we tried to refinance because the big fiasco set us back to square one. And out quite a few dollars for attorneys fees but the satisfaction was still there and no new lien was placed on the home by Wells Fargo end of story right?
Nope they have once again filed foreclosure on the property without a lien or any documents promissory note or any other paperwork that they claim they lost due to no fault of their own is this legal we need help desperately.
