We have a problem and need help. Wells Fargo filed a satisfaction of lien on our property back in Janurary of 2004. Ther was a equity line of credit taken out on our home in 05 there was no other loan shown at the time.
We tried to refinance in jan of 06. That is when we found that wells fargo was trying to foreclose on the home and asked the courts that the lien be reinstated. They say the satisfied lien was filed incorrectly. We paid an attorney to fix this and the case was dissmissed volunatrily by wells fargo.
Now we tried to refinance becuase the big fiasco set us back to square one. And out quite a few dollars for attorneys fees but the satisfaction was still there and no new lien was placed on the home by wells fargo end of story right?
Nope they have once again filed forclosure on the property without a lien or any documents promissary note or any other paperwork that they claim they lost due to no fault of ther own is this legal we need help desperatley.
