I became a client of this company in October. I had an account with Citibank (Universal card) on one of their debt management plans. They never contacted the creditor and I got collection calls from Citibank. The account was turned over to a collection agency in January and a lawsuit was filed in March. I was served with the suit in July, cancelled the contract, hired a lawyer, and filed for bankrupcy in September. They kept $807 of my money. When I cancelled the contract, they accused me of bouncing payments. My purse had been stolen in April and I had top close my checking account and open a new one with a different account number. They kept taking payments out of the closed checking account. I don't know how they did this, but they did.
