I have not been able to find an attorney anywhere who will take the Ameriquest cases. I called lots of states. The first thing they all ask: Why didn't you make your payments? On PLEEZEEEEEEE!
I read so much here about AGeneral's offices and that is a joke, they don't want your information. That is sad, they direct you to Consumer Protection. They are helpful and they are mad at AQuest. Why? This puny little settlement we all are supposed to get gets delayed every 90 days for 90 more days and so on.
Most states it is down to $200 and that is NOTHING. I don't want it. I read about one lawyer in Chicago who has clients nationwide and he said that consumers will be lucky to get a small fraction of a settlement IF this goes through and that is very doubtful.
I had a 423 score after AQuest. 830 before and after working very hard on this through a terrific credit law firm; I have 35 items deleted. The AMC list is gone. I have the 2 bureaus on AQuest listed: However; lawyers are continually disputing this as: Debt settled by foreclosure. I miss my home. Lots of memories gone, gone, and gone.
Where and HOW can we sue to get our lives back? Anyone know? Please write. My brother and his wife lost their home as well. He wrote on here and AQuest used it against him.
People: This IGNORANT company reads everything we write. They ahve NOTHING else to do.
