CCBill.com
Aye matey, CCBill is the meanest pirate on the Internet, you best keep your weather eye open for 'im, aaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhh!

I took out a 30 day subscription to uberdate.com and cancelled on the 30th day. They charged me for another month saying that i had cancelled two hours late. No other web service i have seen does that, they charge by the calendar day. I told the c.S. Rep i wanted to talk to his boss. She got on the phone and reiterated what he had said and i said that if they charge like that they should make that information visible on their website. She said it was under Terms and Agreements. I said, "Oh, you mean that tiny writing that nobody ever reads?" She said "Well, that how come somebody just called today with a question about something they read there?" I said "Who knows" or words to that effect.

At the end of the phone call i told her the company she worked for are a bunch of crooks" and she said "Okay, sir" or words to that effect. I decided to look at their precious little Terms and Agreement section and it said something about cancelling your sub 24 hours before end date if you had agreed to automatic billing on the "content provider's" website. Not only did i not agree to it, they didn't mention anything about it, and they didn't have an option for opting out of it like most websites do, or else i would have. Then i looked at uberdate.com's terms and conditions and they said nothing about automatic renewals or cancelling by a certain hour or whatever. To backtrack here i had subscribed on 8/9 and cancelled on 9/8, purposely so i would not get rebilled. But as previously mentioned the dunderheads at CCBill said i cancelled two hours late. On CCBill's website, they say that all the info re their terms and agreement is also on the "content provider's
site. Another fabrication.

There's no mention of CCBill or their policies on uberdate.com. I wasn't aware until another poster mentioned it that this is the same billing company that does a lot of the porno site. Maybe they figure that people will be too embarassed to report it when they play their little rip-off games, i don't know. I just think they should be fined or whatever for what they're doing. But i guess that's never going to happen, so they'll probably keep doing it.
