Ripoff

I was applying for a loan with my bank and found out that I had an outstanding balance of $312.00 from fairfintri but could only find this website... This was dated back to 1991 (how many years later and all of a sudden I get this notice) plus I was out of the country at this time... Why is Transunion Credit reporting this on my credit report... How many more things do they report that are bogus? If anyone out there can tell me what to do to get this off my credit report, let me know... Thank you
