I got a letter in the mail for "what appeared" to be a credit card with a $6,500 limit. When I called to activate it however, they informed me of the $200 activation fee, and pushed me into giving them my account number so they can take the money out of there. It wasn't until I got off the phone with them that I realized that I couldn't use the card on anything except their stupid catalog. I then called them back to cancel my membership, but they wouldn't let me, and stated that "All sales are final!"So, just when I thought I had extra money to spend and to build up my credit. What really happened is that I got ripped off, and just lost money. This is a kniving, deceptive company that will stop at nothing to make their money, and who completely disrespect their customers.
