Due to illness in late 1998 I became delinquent in many of my financial obligations. One of my creditors be MBNA America Visa which I had a $15,000. Balance sold the portfolio to Collect America - Russell Davis Law Associates. I contacted them several times to get this matter settled, but had no luck. I am now in a better position to pay back my debt however Russell A. Davis and, his wife Sandi Davis said they will only except $30,000.00 which is double the amount that I owed. The Davis Law Firm had place a lien against my property for that amount. How can this be legal? Please Help!
