Option One Mortgage
Unethically driving individuals to Bankruptcy, stealing homes

After reading some of the complaints about OOMC, I can sympathize completely. I had a pay cut seriously affecting my ability to pay my mortgage. Worked out a prepayment plan with OOMCwhich went along smoothly for a while but then had illness in family lost more income. Decided to file bankruptcy, all along OOMC kept increasing my interest rate eventhough I had a fixed rate mortgage.

Filed banruptcy in 9, lawyers kept trying to get it confirmed, OOMC demanded an increase in payments beyond my ability and fought the bankruptcy. Bankruptcy was dismissed in 4, didn't know about it until 7, OOMC accelerated foreclosure. That's what they do in Texas. I tried to talk with OMMC, constantly talking to customer service in INDIA. THese people don't understand you and who has given them the authority to make decisions about my property or ability to pay. I got a mortgage with an AMERICAN company. Alot of the time I got rude agents, bumped calls, voice mails, etc.

Tried to work out another repayment plan to bring mortgage current, had recently gotten a good paying job, OOMC wanted me to repay a ridiculously high amount and would not negotiate.in our dicussions I told them I had a buyer and would do a quick sale in order to save my credit, OMMC would not even consider the amount offered, which was comparable to home sale prices in the area. Because CS is in India, and time was of the essence, they kept talking as if everything was a day ahead. Well in India, it is!

House went to auction on 8/1 and no one called, wrote, faxed or anything about the status of the house. I called OOMC for status of sale no one to this day has spoken to me after numerous messages have been left. Got a call from someone REO Agency stating that OOMC wanted me to vacate the premises in 10 days and OMCC would pay me $500. Three days later got a letter from a lawyer atating they represented OOONC and I have to vacate by the end of the month. Who are these people and why doesn't OOMC send me something in writing themselves since the house went back to their possession.

OOMC is not a company willing to work with you, they need to get rid of their Indian cusomer service, stop hiking interest rates on fixed mortgages, ignoring customers, etc. They are bad news.
