Redline Recovery Service LLC Ripoff Artist, Rude and Degrading, Repeatedly hung up on me, Dishonorable and trying to renege on settlement the service offered

I have unfortunately made a mess of my finances, and gotten in over my head with credit card debt in the past. That has been a heavy burden on my, and is one source of the depression and hopelessness I have. I often feel as though I'm trapped, and the only way out is through my death. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do about my outstanding debt.

In spite of that I feel compelled to do something, so I searched the Internet to find out what my course of action could be and looked for advise regarding my current settlement agreement with the Redline Recovery Services That's when I found the consumer complaints, I hope someone will help me to figure out a way to resolve the following situation:

On May 5th I contacted the Redline Recovery Service, in response to the settlement notice that I had received from the service dated April 11. That stated the Recovery Service
was authorized to settle my outstanding Discovery Card/Financial Service account for the reduced balance of $920.71.

I spoke to a Redline Recovery Representative (Frank), spend a few minutes discussing my account with him. I explained to Frank that I have been unemployed since 10/03, and that my only source of income is Social Security Disability Benefits. I expressed to Frank that I desired to pay my debt, and would accept the settlement that was offered. However, since I'm on a fixed income, I was unable to make the full payment in one installment.

The Redline Recovery Service Representative (Frank) made payment arrangement with me. That I would pay $150 per month until the settlement was paid off. I sent my first $150 payment in May, along with a copy of the original settlement notice that I had received from the Redline Recovery Service. I proceeded to send my second $150 payment in June, as I agreed to do.

Then I received a notice from the Redline Recovery Service, which I had been waiting for, but it conflicted with the agreement I had made with Frank. So I contact the Service on June 7th, that's when I was told Frank had been fired. I was transferred to Natali, who said she had been assigned to manage my account now. Natali went on to tell me that Frank wasn't authorized to make the payment arrangements that he made with me. Then Natali told me to call back next month (July), that she would see what she could do.

On June 30th I called the Redline Recovery Service again, and spoke to Natali. Which is when I made a new/the current payment arrangement agreement with her. That I would pay off the balance of my settlement ($620.71) in two payments ($310.71 = July, $310 =August). I also requested that Natali send me a notice regarding our new agreement, stating the new payment amount and indicating when the payment was due. So there wouldn't be a conflict.

I never received the notice/letter, so I called the Redline Recovery Service again on July 30th and left a voice mail message for Natali. Then I called back on July 31st, that time I spoke to Natali. She was rude, I tried to discuss the terms of our current agreement and asked about the notice she was supposed to send to me. Natali claimed that she sent the notice on June 30th, and that she had attempted to contact me. Then she hung up on me.

I called the Recovery Service right back, and they transferred me to Natali again. That time Natali agreed to honor the settlement (balance $620.71), and made plans for me send the July payment via Money Gram on August 1st. Stating that she would waver the fact that the payment wasn't going to be received in July. Natali also agreed to fax me a notice/letter regarding the agreement and my next/last payment.

After I sent the $310.71 Money Gram to Redline Recovery Services, I called Natali and gave her the reference number. Natali told me that it would take about 24 hours for the payment to post my account. Then she said the people who write the notice/letter were gone for the day, but she would have it don't the next day. I waited, but I didn't receive the notice.

So on August 3rd I called the Redline Recovery Service again and asked for Natali, but I was told she was at lunch (3:30pm) that I should call back later. When I called back at 5pm or so, I was told Natali had let the office for the day. I called the Redline Recovery Service again on August 4th, I was told Natali was out of the office. I spoke to a Mr. Rickers, who claimed to be Natali's superior. Mr. Ricker told me that the people who write the notice/letter were gone for the day, but he would have the notice/letter sent to me on Monday (8/7th).

I called the Recovery Service again on August 7th, and I asked for Natali. When she answered the phone, she was rude again and tried to renege on what we had previously agreed to. Then Natali stated saying I don't have any proof of the settlement agreement that I claimed to have with the Service. After all the discussions that I had with Natali since June, she was now trying to act as though I was lying and need to prove that I had an agreement.

I then faxed a copy of the original settlement notice that I had received from the Redline Recovery Service, and the letter that I had send to the Service with my second payment in June. When I called to see if see received my fax, I was told Natali had left the office for the day. When I asked if she had received my fax, I was told yes it was received and forwarded to the Compliance Department. That it would take about 48 hours for them to get back to me.

I called the Redline Recovery Service again on August 8th, and asked for Natali. She rudely told me that her superior had told me they would call me back in 48 hours, and hung up on me again. So I decided to write a letter today, formally requesting that a notice be sent to me acknowledging the last payment agreement that I made with my accounts manager (Natali) on June 30th. When it was agreed that I would make two payments ($310.71 and $310.00) to finish paying the settlement ($620.71 Acct's balance, after 6/06 payment).

I asked that they respond to my letter, as soon as possible. I stated that I wished to resolve this and finish paying off the settlement. Which I have been attempting to do in good faith since I accepted the settlement that was offered to me by the Recovery Service. I received a call back from Mr. Ricker, he started telling me that I didn't have anything in writing stating that I had a settlement payment agreement with Redline Recovery. Then he got rudder and louder, then hung up on me.
