On March 1st I received a call from Andrea of First Capital Consumer Group - 416-289-3668-saying that I have been approved for a mastercard with a $2500 credit line. ANd that I would receive the credit card within 2 weeks of the bank withdrawal.
On March 7th they took out $199 from my bank account. It's been more than 2 1/2 months - NOThing came. I tried calling them a total of more than 100 times, left messages and never got a returned call. When I did talk to someone on May 13th I was told to fax a letter, stating that I wanted a refund. I did that on May 15th.
Then I called today, May 27th and spoke with an unbelieveably rude person by the name of Lucy who was taking me for an idiot. She put mt on hold for a long time, came back and said she found my record and that my fax has been sent to First Capital's Bank, pending a refund. Everything else, she didn't know. She didin't know anything at all. When I called back the 2nd time, trying to tape the conversation, she denied ever seeing my record.
Somebody, please if you know what to do, please help me.
