Indiana Mortgage Funding, USA MOrtgage Funding, Matt Esarey
Ripoff

Where do I start with this one? My husband and I found a house we were interested in buying. We contacted the realtor and found a broker, Matt esarey, who at the time, worked with Indiana Mortgage Funding. He immediately ordered an appraisal on the house, told us to go ahead and get insurance on it... Did I mention we started this adventure back in May?!

We faxed him all the mandatory paperwork, and many times he said it was in underwriting and it was taking longer than he expected. Well, the loan on the house fell thru... And we found another one... A cheaper one... And MAtt told us it would be NO problem to get financed for it.

Once again he ordered the appraisal on it... And told us he could close the deal in 3 days since there wasnt a realtor involved in this transaction. Well, what Matt failed to tell us is that Indiana Mortgage Funding closed its doors... Due to bankruptcy. Or the boss embezzling money... And our file was handed over to USA MOrtgage Funding. Im not sure if Matt got a job with this company, or if hes employed elsewhere... Ive heard both. ONe person says yes he works here, the next person says no he doesnt work here.

We've talked to USA Mortgage Funding several times and they have no clue to what is going on with our file and are stating that we will have to start the whole process over... Pulling credit... Appraisals etc. Who's pulling our leg here? All we want is a house. And for someone to be honest with us. Matt has told us since May that we would close on a house tomorrow, tomorrow... And tomorrow. How many tomorrows can there be? And now they tell us it may be even harder to get a loan for this house since its cheaper? Whats with that? Someone help! Are we not entitled to... Appraisal money and insurance money being returned to us? Its been very frustrating.

How can a person with a very low credit score and no down payment buy a mansion... But people like my husband and myself, have okay credit and a down payment and cant buy a 38 thousand dollar house?! Its some kind of conspiracy! Ha ha! Advise is welcome! Thanks
