I had a postcard sent to me by mail for a $5000.00 grant. The application fee was for $299.97. If the grant was not approved than I was suppose to get my $299.97 refunded. They sent me a package that had the title 'Kensington Assistance Agency' with some paper work that had to be filled out and returned. I did as they said and then waited to hear from them. I even called several times and they told me to call back around the middle of July because it would take a while for the application to be processed.
I knew something was kind of funny about the situation during my last phone conversation with the same man who answered every time I called. I could hear a TV in the background and he seemed to not care as much about talking with me. He acted like a jerk. They have caller ID too so I started calling from a private number and a lady would answer with children in the back ground giving me lame excuses to why I have not received the grant. I tried calling today July 17 and the phone number has been disconnected. The other phone number I have is not allowing incoming calls from my area.
It was all a scam and a pretty good one since they keep the scam going with me from Feb. 27 to July 17. I am taking legal action against this fraud and I suggest anyone who has been scammed by this fraudulant company should do the same. They need to be shut down and put into jail for their scam. I am a full time student and I cannot afford to pay $299.97 to some person to lie to me about a government grant which would have helped me out with my school tuition. I believe anyone who has been taken by this fraudulant company would feel the same and that is why it is so important for all of us involved in this scam to stick together and shut this company down before other innocent people are taken in by these jerks.
