I made an online payment for a credit card. It was the first time payment on the chase bank website. I registered online i received an e-mail for registering mins after id registered.

I then proceeded to pay on chase website for the credit card. I received a confirmation stating that my payment was made May 13 th on the mentioned acct. The payment was due 2 days after payment was made.

I discover the payment was never made, not by the bank notifying me, but by my inquiring after i tried to use the card several days after i made a payment.

I called immed that day to find out what was going on. Chase increased the rate from 7.99% on balance tansfers and on purchases to 29.9% including cash advances. Even though i hold a letter sent by Chase Bank the payment was made. May 13th.

I spoke to a continental supervisor whom i kept the name and she assured me my credit has not been affected nor the rate. I asked her will the 7.99% for balance transfers be restored she repllied yes in turn i requested a letter to confirm what she stated. She stated should would send it.

I received such letter June 3 and no where in the letter does it state the 7.99% was restored for the balance transfers...
