I am currently between jobs and my husband and I are raising 5 kids together. I was on a post office website one evening when I came across an ad for completing surveys and making money. I read the details and testimonials, and decided that since it was on a federal website, it must be legitimate.
I made my payment of $34.95 to access the list of survey companies who 'needed help'. I was told that all you had to do was fill out so many surveys and you would be paid so much money. Well, that wasn't the truth. EVERY survey company I went to had a 'procedure'.
First you had to come up with a user name and password for EACH company. Then you had to go through the whole survey, but you could not complete a SINGLE survey without signing up for OTHER survey companies, or agreeing to receive other information on products, etc. You HAD to sign up for products or the survey would not be complete. And some of them costed money (i.E. BMG music, NetFlix, BlockBuster, etc.). So it took me HOURS just to sign up for different surveys, before I finally gave up!
By the time you are done signing up for surveys, and signing up for products and other survey companies, you are signed up with about 50 other people! But they don't tell you this in the beginning!
They tell you that all you have to do is sign up and surveys will just come to your e-mail and lead you to believe that it is such a simple process!
DON'T waste your money! It will actually cost you MORE! They scam people like me who are desperate to find work!
