Steals customers car and is Found Guilty of theft and breach of contract by Jury then leaves Charge off/Repo on Customers Credit Report and won't remove it, ripoff

Huntington Bank repoed my vehicle and I hadn't missed any payments. I sued them and Huntington Bank was found guilty of "Conversion" and Breach of contract (see definition of terms below). My vehicle was sold at auction 1 month after they took it, so I never got it back and the lawsuit lasted over 2-Years.

Definition:
*Conversion n. A civil wrong (tort) in which one converts another's property to his/her own use, which is a fancy way of saying "steals." Reference: (link deleted - see below)

THE PROBLEM: is that Huntington National Bank left a Charge Off on my credit report after the trial showing I owed them money. Which the court said I didn't. Now, my report shows something much worse.

For nine months I wrote letters to the credit agencies and HNB to remove the false negative info and neither would remove the item even after I provided court documentation. The Credit reporting agencies stated it was HNB's responsibility to remove the item since they put it there and they also stated that HNB responded to their investigations by replying that I owed the debt and the item was not to be removed. HNB was ignoring the court order.

HNB repeatedly removed the negative item and would then put it back on my credit report. Dropping my credit score over 60 points in 9 months. On one occasion they removed the false negative info and left a phone number and name of a representative for future creditors to call for more details on my account.

If you cannot legally report certain information on an individuals credit record then you can't have people call in to get it. After I complained to the credit agencies about that, HNB removed that statement and phone number and again put the false negative balance back on my report.

I also found out that only one person is in charge of my HNB account. So, I don't beleive it's a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing.

Finally, after an appeal was heard and lost, HNB finally removed the false negative balance they reported on my Credit report. But, as I stated earlier my credit report is now worse than ever. HNB is now reporting "Account Status Charged off $19, XXX written off/past due." Payment history is listed not available.

Now the credit report looks like I never made a payment and they reposessed it. Seriously, what are they going to write, we stole it and sold it and the customer doesn't owe us? The court say's I owe them nothing, yet they still report this on my credit record and they still won't remove it.

I spoke with my current bank rep and he stated a charge-off is no different than a repo. I was turned down for a car loan and even though I have court documents to prove I owe Huntington nothing and my vehicle wasn't reposessed the lender didn't care. It's been 3-years since I owned a vehicle. If anyone knows what I can do about this let me know.

Please note. Most of the information provided here is matter of public record.
