NFS Loans claims to approve licensed mortgage brokers to originate mortgage loans in their home state and out of state. Out of state actually involves a fraudulent practice as company owner puts his name on loan app but never speaks to client because it is other broker's deal. (Kind of a straw man) I paid $75 to become approved to do loans in CA, and paid a background check & they came up with blatantly false background info
and reasons for denial.
Their reasons:
1.) I did not have a lender referral letter ; I provided 2 lender referral letters from companies they do business with directly
2.) Background check said my Florida license is under another Broker 200% False (never was & never will be.)
I gave them the number to call Fl state licensing and they never bothered.
That's it.!! I provided what was required along with an impeccable credit score rating of 760 and asset strength.
I know, I know never pay to work for someone - Golden rule.
They will keep your money & personal data. I also fear they have kept other mortgage brokers' money or customers with similar false reasons for denial.
Company never answers phones either. It has become apparent they are not a large company and only seek to profit off prospective consumers & individuals working for them.
