An employee of mine is having credit problems, and is in the process of losing her home and filing bankrupcy. Cross Country Bank has repeately called her at work (3-4 times a day), and after intercepting their calls, I instructed them not to call her at work any more.
Their calls continued, and after several more warnings, I filed a complaint with the FTC. They told me it is outside their jurisdiction. I called the phone company, and they told me I need to file a police complaint in our town, and maybe they would call them and ask them to stop calling. Maybe??!
Is there anything I can do to stop this harassment? I have taken this employee off our phone list, and when Cross Country Bank calls now, I bang the receiver on the counter until they hang up. This is the lowest scum of a credit service, and I recommend everyone avoid doing business with such a disreputable company
