In April GP made it's first foray onto the Internet by e-mailing a small group of people about their pending "launch" of the most technologically advanced website the world has ever seen. Two years later, they're no further ahead with that claim than they were then.
GP has made over $3 Million dollars from it's members, purposely withheld wages of employees promising deferred payment which never occurred, purposely withheld other payments to employees with no intent of paying, and continues to conduct the most despicable campaign of shamefully purposeful misinformation I have ever witnessed.
I was compelled to write this report after reading the maniacal rants of a handful of thick headed supporters who still believe that CEO Alan Catalan is trying to "deliver as promised". I say this not because they still support the hollow shell called GP, but because they simply refuse to believe the truth shared with them by people who have actually worked for GP and know what is really going on.
My report stems, in part, from having worked on premises at GP for nearly 5 months. I have a foundation of first hand experience to substantiate anything I say regarding this company and have the supporting voices of many other ex-employees who can relate the same stories, and worse.
This company began with the intent of building the world's first cooperative online community that rewards it's members for their time and activities spent on the Internet. A marvelous community spirit grew from the founding members unlike anything else I've seen on the Internet. However, all the good intent, the community spirit of the membership, the positive thoughts and wishes, none of this can salvage what looks to have been impossible from the beginning. GP never had the resources to do anything technologically mundane, let alone advanced. They have since dispatched all their capable employees to the land of the unemployed and continue to hobble along taking member contributions of $25/month in return for absolutely nothing. The CEO has been caught in so many lies and purposefully misinforming statements that the only supporters GP still has are those so desperate for riches that they've allowed all reason to be pushed from their minds.
For anyone considering involving themselves with this company please do your homework. I didn't dig as deeply as I could have before moving my family 800 miles across country to work for them. It has cost me and many of my fellow ex-employees a great deal of money, emotional turmoil, and decimated reputation. If nothing else, consider that this company is still under investigation by Federal authorities, and haven't paid anyone anything in nearly a year.
