Citicard Credit Company
Citi card my accounty was turned over to a collection agency, settlemet was made and paid in full, collection company sent proof, now citi card says they didn't receive the last payment

My account was turned over to a collection agency "ventus capital services". I agreed to pay in two installments, citi card has acknowledge receiving the second payment, but not the first one. Have tried several attempts speaking with their representative, every last one has been very nasty towards me. They call my home every single day, late at night, now they are calling my job. I've told them, this account is now under investigation. But i am still getting calls. I've sent them statements from my bank, statements from ventus showing account is paid in full. However, citi card is now denying knowing that company." this has been going on since february. Any suggestions. Have sent letters twice to citi card, no one is responding to my letters. I feel i have been scammed from either citi card or by the collection agency. Now, i will have to pay my hard working money to hire an attorney. Just not fair.
