This morning I received a letter from the desk of the vice president of EL MUNDO SPANISH SWEEPSTAKE LOTTERY COMPANY S.A. Saying that my name was attached to ticket number 031-1127-841 with serial number 3214-07 drew the lucky numbers of 21-22-37-39-41-49 which consepuently won the lottery in the 3rd category.
I have therefore been approved for a lump sum payout of 615,810.00 (SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND TEN EUROS.
I have never been to Spain, and I have never entered the Spanish Lottery so I did a search for the company and came across this site which had another rip off report of the same company on it.
To claim this money I have to send my personal and bank details by FAX to GLOBAL FORTUNE SECURITY S.A.
Further down the letter it states that 5% of the winnings belongs to IBERO INSURANCE COMPANY S.A. Because they entered my name for this draw, this 5% will be remitted after I have received my winnings because the money is insured in my name already.
If I do not claim by 5th April all funds will be returned to the MINISTERIO DE ECONOMIA Y HACIENDA as unclaimed.
I have no intention of submitting my bank details to a firm I have never heard of, I reckon that as I have never been to spain or entered the lottery that this is a scam to get hold of bank details.
