Midland Credit Management and Fingerhut
About seven years ago I ordered a pool and a pool cover for my daughter from fingerhut. I had used fingerhut in the past and had no problems. So when I was contacted from the company that I had a past due bill I didn't question it. I settled with a man named Mark.
Here it is seven years later and I recieve a bill from Midland Credit Management or MCM. I have called them several times and tired to settle this and they won't leave me alone. The only problem is I no longer have the canclled check. The only thing I have is the name and number of the man I settled with and he no longer works with the company.
I have decided to write the company and let them know that I will not be paying this debt. If you have any suggestions as to what else I can do please let me know?
