I wish I had the power to put these people out of business. I recently returned to work from maternity leave (which was unpaid, by the way). Due to the fact that: 1- I had no income coming in but my lousy disability check every two weeks and 2- I just had a baby, I fell behind two payments on my car payments.
I got some money together and made my february payment in the middle of March. I advised the representative that I was on Maternity leave but that as soon as I came back to work I was going to send in another payment. I've been receiving calls everyday at work. At this point I feel like a tape recorder repeating the same thing over and over again.
Some Steve from Long Beach Acceptance called me at work today and I again repeated my story and added that I was going to bring the whole account current in approximately two weeks. Very rudely he asked: "why two weeks?" I could not believe what he was asking me and the little attitude he caught with me. These people should be put out of business.
