My husband & I purchased what we though was our land & home from First capital / Don White in Nov.in August when we had not got our tax information I called the County to check on this. Upon calling them we found out that our contract (which was a private contract) had not been recorded and that the property was listed in Don Whites name and was still listed as personal property.
We then found out that the County & State showed no record of our new double wide ever being registered in this state, which has to be done threw the DMV with every home in the state. We also found out that Don White had also taken a loan on the house and land threw an out of state bank months prior to us signing our contract with him. We found out that the we have paid almost $12,000.00 cash in payments and downs to him and that we have no leagal right to this property. My husband and I had been building on this property as well as making major improvement s to the land and property with no way to be able to re-coup our moneys.
We have been harassed by phone and mail from this guy with documnets that bear only his signiture and a thumb print, yet these papers are NOT from our judical system. He is a self admitted Constatutionlist and feels that he does not have to answer to our judical system. To this day we have been unable to sucessfully sue this man or be able to get our moneys back. We have found over 12 other couples/people that have also been taken the same way by this guy and no one to date has been able to recoup thier losses form the contract deals.
