Ripoff deceptive company the business that doesn't give a dam dishonest ripoffs

Due to my husband going on strike at the company he worked for in 1998 we had no other choice to file bankruptcy. We reaffirmed our home and some other things. Our house was mortgaged through First Union Bank, at that time. About a year after our banruptcy was discharged First Union sold our mortgage to Home Eq. My husband started paying an extra $100.00 a month on our payment to be applied to the principal. When we got our tax papers back he noticed some of the extra money he had paid wasn't accounted for. So he called them and asked them about it. The lady told him she would find out and get back to him. About a month later we get a letter in the mail from Home Eq. The letter states that there are corporate advances on our loan, more like corporate ripoff. I mean come on what the hell is this bullshit? They have had our loan almost two years and now all of a sudden we have corporate advances we owe. Why didn't they tell us this when they took over our loan? In my opinion it's just there way of keeping us indebted to them. According to them these corporate advances are a total of $884.99

So from my understanding we are being made to pay for the cost of them buying our loan. Because we never had any defaults or delinquencys. And we have never received a foreclosure notice. So what else could these bogus Attorney's fees, Filing fees, and Brokers Price opinion be? As for a payment deferral fee we have never had a payment deferred.

Shobhana Port is the person who sent this document to us. And she says to refer to our signed loan documents to confirm the terms and results of default and / or delinquency for our loan.

Well My husband and I both read our loan documents very carefully before we signed them and I also just reread them and there is nothing in there about this. Except that we will have to pay a late fee if our payments aren't made by the due date. And that we will be responsible for Attorneys fees if our loan is in default and we are foreclosed on. But the point is we have never been in default. And when we filed bankruptcy in 1998 we were behind on our payments, but we got those caught up and never got behind or paid our payments late again. We have never been threatened or given notice that we were going to be foreclosed on or that we were in default. And have never gotten a phone call from Home Eq saying our payment is late. But another funny thing about the whole situation is the fact that Home Eq DID NOT have our loan in 2000 or 1999. We were still with First Union. So how can they charge us for something that was supposedly incurred when they weren't even our mortgage holder. This is just a bunch of total bogus bullshit. We are planning on going to see our Lawyer about this. And having our home remortgaged else where so we don't have to continue to deal with this bullshit anymore. Also When Home Eq first took over our loan they called our house once on the 2nd of the month and asked my husband why he was late on the payment. And he told them he wasn't late on the payment that his payments aren't due until the 22nd of the month and that is not including the grace period. They tried to tell him they changed our due date to the 1st of the month. He told them "the hell you did, my loan contract was with First Union not you and I set it up with them to pay it on the 22nd of the month and that is what it says in my loan documents and I have been paying it on the 22nd for the last five years and that is the way it is going to stay"."And if you call me again about it I will have my Lawyer press harassment charges against you". They never called us again, but our payments are never late either. My husband has decided he is not paying extra with the house payments anymore because Home Eq wants to take it for bogus charges. And we have also decided that if they want this so-called money we supposedly owe them they can take us to court because we are not paying it, because it is total bullshit. And I don't want to hear one word from your smart ass Michael. You seem to have a smart ass comment for everyone else who has posted on here. I don't want to hear any bullshit from anyone from Home Eq, sorry my waders just aint that big. All you Home Eq Employees just need to face it that your working for a crooked company, but then again you probably already know that. Just a warning to everyonewatch your dealings very closely not only with Home Eq but also with First Union, cause First Union seems to sell a lot of their loans to Home Eq, even though they tell you that your loan will stay with them unless you choose to remortgage with another Bank. Cause they told us the same bullshit, they never sell their loans my ass.

My In-laws were with Home EQ due to their mortgage being sold also, and Home Eq done them dirty also. Every month they would send them a payment voucher and every month the payment was higher. They also changed their due date several times and then charged them late fees which they added to their loan and charged interest on. They finally decided to remortgage after Home Eq threatened to file foreclosure on them even though they were not delinquent on any of their payments and my Mother-in-law had documentation to prove it all. Their payments were raised from $375.00 to $585.00 a month over two years that Home Eq had their loan. And the original amount borrowed on their home was $35,000.00 and when they remortgaged it was $45,000.00
$10,000.00 more than they even borrowed. That sure is some kind of interest that's $5000.00 a year in so-called interest. What a scam. I wouls just like to know how in the hell can you explain away that kind of bullshit. Documentation and loan contracts don't explain away $10,000.00 or in our case $884.99. No matter how you try to sugar coat it. I hope that this company is put out of business, because we surely don't need dirty dealers in our country.
