I was a deputy sheriff and was injured (off duty) I had to have back surgery. We got behind on our house payments and worked with a nice lady that helped us out at the mtg company we were on a payment plan and had one more month left on the plan and I had a horse fall on me it tore my liver and my aorta I'm lucky to be alive. My husband called the mtg company and a gentleman said he would put our account on hold and the amount that was behind would be put at the end of the loan.
I returned to work... Tried to contact someone at the mtg co. The gentleman we had talked to had been fired. So we left many msg. Then we got in touch with Anthony Loya he quit and we were once again unable to get anyone to call us back. So we mailed a payment, AMC sent the payment back. After many phone calls we were connected to a person named Leon there was a HUGE language barrier. So we called AMC yet another time and never heard from anyone. Finally after asking for a supervisor someone called us. This company does not care about anything... Or anyone... Nothing like worrying about loosing your life in an accident let alone your home that we work so hard for.
I would like them to honor the first gentleman's promise to put the amount past due at the end of the loan or to set up a reasonable payment plan so we can keep our home. They also need to return phone calls promptly to their customers.
