On september I was termed from Aegis communications after 6.5 years of employment. I had been working with one of the exec. Of their client, Amex, and had answered questions asked of me.
One of the questions pertained to the re-opening of a team of agents who retain amex card holders. I had been on this team for three years prior to it's closing and amex asked if I could get the "old" team back together to re-open the department.
I advised amex exec. I didn't know due to Aegis never paid our commision when the gate closed. Amex started asking questions about this issue (amex paid our commisions via aegis billing), and I advised amex if I said more I would probably loose my job.
Approx. A week later I was called into office of director (aegis) and termed for "client impact." Amex exec. Had given me his word there would be no repurcusions if I answered his questions.
I attempted to contact amex and rec'd no reply. Aegis advised me contacting amex would not help as they "had taken care of the situation so amex would not talk to me."
Even though I was given term papers for "client impact" Aegis has noted my record with insubordination as reason for term.
I have witnessed many many episodes of illegal moves on the part of Aegis. I have watched fraud directed at amex cardholders by aegis employees. I have seen, and been written up for, bringing fraud reports to management.
I could go on and on over this company. Amex cardholders would be in shock if they knew how their accounts are handled! There is no security or protection of any kind for these cardmembers and their personal information.
Also, any of the charges amex cardmembers see on their accounts coming from amex goods and services and relate they did not ask for I guarentee they were slammed! I watched this going on continually over and over every day.
