When I tried to withdraw funds from my bank account, I was told that there was not sufficient funds. I thought this was unusual so I asked the teller what was going through my account that would cause this. She replied that check number 25581 was being processed for an amount of $159.95.
I noticed this was an unusual amount and an unusual check number (my checks arent over the 2000 number), so I asked the bank to research this check and get back with me. I was told because it was an electronic check nothing could be done so I paid to have the check stopped.

A month later I was charged an electronic debit in the same amount. I had a number to call then so I called the 800 number only to be put on hold for around 6 minutes hearing how important my call was and that a customer service rep would be with me shortly. I was disconnected shortly after that polite message. Several attempts at speaking with someone were met with the same result. I then tried the website that offered prompt and more efficient service. The online live support was offline (and after visiting the site several times I noticed this was the norm) so I tried to email them asking what I supposedly bought and if they could provide the website that their product was bought from. I never recieved a reply. It was only through more research on my own that I discovered that I had "purchased" a pre-paid debit card. A WHAT?!?! As I understand it a pre-paid debit card is what my bank provides free of charge. So they are trying to tell me that I paid about $160.00 for a card that I am going to have to put more money on before I can use it? There are "other services" that this card provides however I have yet to figure out what website advertises the Acclaim pre-paid visa card and the services it offers. I haven't been able to contact the company to get this information either. So far my bank seems supportive and sympathetic to my complaint but no refund is in my account as of this date.
