If you are ever sent a letter or email from Immediate Financial Services. SHRED IT! Burn it! Whatever you do, dont fill it out! Dont send the "collateral payment". I did apply online to get a $7000 loan and they are the ones who responded. Having bad credit, I knew it would be a long shot. They told us that we had to submit 25% down in collateral which would mean sending them $1,750 which would be reapplied to our orginal loan amount after 6 months of good payments.
Well, unfortunately, we fell for this. We sent $1750 (which took us cash advances to do) and sent it to Michael Bishop in Yep, you got it. New Market Ontario Canada where the "corporate office" was. Like all the other replies I've read on here and on scam.com, we were all of a sudden turned down for the loan and "wont see our money returned until Jan 5th."
When we clicked on the link on their website, it sent the email to [email protected] who were kind enough to email me saying they have had tons of emails like this wrongly sent to them. They checked out immmediate's site and their server to find that immediate had made fraudulent purchases at our web template various times. And that is why their email address is there.
Get this one. We even prior to sending the money, called the BBB in Virginia and inquired about the company. They stated that they have heard of them and they had no bad reports to their knowledge. This is the only way we actually felt some what safe on doing this.
I highly doubt we will ever see our money again. It has cost us tons between the collateral, the western union fee, the bounced checks, almost losing our house and having no gas for heat for about a week. I pray these scum bags get caught. We have been trying to reach them on the phone and we only get an automated service that states that you have to contact customer service but does not leave a number nor is there a number for that on the papers. I am ready for a road trip as well! I will offer any of our information and papers to aid in the hunt for these rip off idiots.
