I have only been with wells "rip you off" fargo for 3 weeks and that is 3 weeks too long. Do not do business with wells fargo if you value your money and your sanity. They will give you the run around, sending you from person to person and phone # to phone# meanwhile racking up charges on your account before you can find someone (if you're lucky) that has enough brains to help you.
I sat in the lobby at one of their instore branches for over and hour and half—trying to solve my problem. My ex-employers check was returned and without my knowing or being notified they closed my account. I did not find this out until I went to the bank to make a deposit. It went down hill from there. They wanted me to make a deposit to cover the 600 something check but would not take my money because my account had been closed—yeah, it gets better... I had to wait for the manager to get back from lunch—even though on the phone he had told me the tellers could take the deposit—He then waited on 3 other people before talking to me... By then I was ready to walk out—he said he had taken care to the problem—I then gave him 300.00 cash to add to my account on top of the 600.00 an hour before, because I did not want anything to bounce.
Checking my account the day after I found out there was still a hold and although the 600.00 deposit to cover the overdraft was showing the 300.00 was no where to be found... This has been a nightmare. I was treated as though I was the bad guy and every employee I came into contact with was of no help and very cold. They made me feel as though they were doing me a favor—what happened to customer service??? None at wells fargo. Save yourself alot of trouble—do your research—search the internet—you will find I am soooo not alone. I only wish I had done my research. They are not bank personal, they are bank robbers.
