A BIG SCAM BEWARE RIPOFF Nationwide Offices

I was contacted by a representative from Primerica not too long ago. I was confused initially, because even though I had been looking for a new job... I had never applied for a position with Primerica.in fact, I had never even heard or read about the company before.

In my quest to find a new job, I decided to go down for the "interview". The interview wasn't really an interview at all... They didn't ask me one thing about myself or how I would fit in to their company. Rather, they began trying to sell me on Primerica... Telling me that I could be a manager and "build my own business". They immediately wanted me to provide them with names ("references") of people that we could "help" become debt free or even offer them a job with Primerica. (Thank God I didn't) I thought it was wierd that they didn't want personal references to see if I was a good person for the job or not.

Still intrigued, I decided to attended the orientation and some meetings. The meetings did not discuss financing or debt at all. Rather, it was focused on recruiting... Getting more and more people to come down there. They encouraged us to get out there and even talk to strangers to come down and check them out. What legitimate company would want strange people right off the streets coming in and working for them? Red flag indeed.

I was even sucked in so far as to pay the $199 licensing fee... Money I never saw again (and I didn't even end up taking the licensing class). Their weekly meetings held in the evenings were all about teaching people methods of getting recruits down. Their main idea they kept stressing was to be vague with people..."Don't tell them too much, or they won't come down." Red flag again... Wouldn't you want people to know exactly what your business is about before they come down? To be honest with you... They never even told me what their business was about — It was all RECRUITING!

The Saturday classes held in the morning were more like a cult meeting. They always had chanting, music playing in the background, people were always cheering and slapping high-fives with everyone... And the sole purpose of the meeting was to report how many new people they had gotten for the week. Never once did they discuss how they helped a family get out of debt.

It took me some wasted time and $199 to realize Primerica is a scam. Please be aware of all of this if you are contacted by a "recruiter" telling you they want to train you to be a manager to "build your own business". What legitimate company do you know that charges YOU money to work for them? And I have never heard of a company hiring solely on recruiting. If this was a real legit company... Wouldn't people be contacting the company and asking to send their resumes to them, not the other way around? Thank goodness for this site... It truly helped me open my eyes!

Hope This Helps Someone Out There!
