Its a cult! Do not go to their meetings or be sucked in as a "primerica rep!"

Hello all. Fair warning about "Primerica":

*Before I proceed, I like to thank this website and the many unfortunate people who wrote in their experiences. At the very least, it helps people avoid mistakes (like me), so I sincerely thank each and every one of you*

I just attended a meeting tonight and to my surprise it was me along with approximately 60 other people. My Primerica rep had somehow convinced me it would be a 1-on-1 interview but acrouse it wasn't (Red flag #1). I consider myself a very nice person and as one of their schemes, they sought "nice people who look to help others" but in this case, financially.

After the hour or so long presentation which featured a VP speaker named Bill, (must be the arrogant one everyone is mentioning) you were seriously left brain-washed.in my case, I believed the $199 fee to be "licensed as a Primerica rep" would land me a job ASAP and allow me to make a fortune and help others at the same time. Ha... Wishful thinking.

They "claim" you do not need to have ANY financial experience whatsoever (Red Flag #2) in order to be a rep. All they talk about is expansion and the need to hire new recruits at Primerica.

What they really want is to earn a commission by signing you, and then getting your referrals to join in.

Its a well-sought plan that has gotten a lot of people and almost got me tonight. After attending the meeting, my Primerica rep was more than excited to have a followup meeting as soon as possible. I could tell he sensed I was questioning some of the presentation which is very scant on info how you actually earn money (and acourse the concept of NO actual salary being involved). To be honest, I could sense fear in my rep and it was another red flag. Like others have stated, I asked some questions that he could not answer and decided in many cases to flip them around and ask me a question. Again, I think we have a little brain-washing going on!

I cannot believe in this day and age that people still do this to others. Be forwarned.

My advice? If a Primerica rep contacts you through email/phone/or etc, tell them to take a hike!
