This is a warning to all those who have been contacted by these criminals. Today I received a phone call on my cell from a man who said his name was Michael. (Very thick Indian accent.) I noticed that the number came up as Unavailable so that should have been my first signal. They gave me the same crap that all I have to do is set-up a checking account within the next two weeks and they will automatically transfer 12,500 dollars as part of a grant program because I pay taxes.
What makes my report different from the rest is that they never mentioned a transaction fee. They said that they would just send the money and that was it. After I got off the phone I googled their name and got their number. I called three times and I believe the number is out of service. The phone kept hanging up.
PLEASE do not submit any sort of information to these people. I hope that they get caught and prosecuted.
