My husband recently applied to refinance our home and we found a debt collection on his credit report from Palisades.
There was no address, no company name for debt and no phone number to call.
We refinanced at a rate 2 points higher due to this 139.00 debt and when the checks were dispursed a check was dispensed to us for Palisades.
Upon looking for the address to send the check we came across this report. We called our lawyer immediately and then tried to contact Palisades directly through numbers found on similar reports on your site.
First, I can get no one to admit they are Palisades. All of the numbers are different agencies, OSI, Global Vantage etc.
Second, there is NO record of a debt under our names BUT they could find it if we give them our SS#- NO WAY
This will take forever to get off our report. So, Ask for it in writing!!!
