Capital Credit Alliance
Can't be good-Sounds like and must be a ripoff

I just recieved my "Capital Credit Alliance" card (which I must say really looks like a credit card at a glance) and went ahead and gave them a call. I was dialing the number when I noticed that the card didn't have visa or mastercard or anything on it. So I hung up and started reading the letter that came with it and realized that this was supposed to be some kinda of specific shopping card.

I thought well this still might not be to bad, so let me call them and find out exactly what this is all about and see what they kinda of products they offer. So I call again and get this guy and it sounds official... At first... Until he said that I had to want the credit before he could tell me about anything about the products. So I go a little bit futher along and I aggree because he hasn't asked for any account numbers or anything... So you tells me about how the offer over "5000 top quality products" ranging from electronics to household goods etc, etc, etc... So then he tells me he has to get his floor superviser to come verify this call and that's when I found out about the one time payment of $199 that he was immediatley trying to set up an electronic payment for.

I stopped him and said I still wanted to know more about what kinda of specific products they offered. Again with the "top quality products" line. So ok, I say what about computers?"Well we sell those in package deals... Right now we selling them with digital cameras." Ok, so what brands? Listen at this comeback..."We have an advertisement clause that prevents us from telling specific brands"

That's when I knew it was BULLCRAP. So then I told them, no never mind I don't want to sign up. That's when he try to be the salesmen and convince me it was a great deal... Having all of these great one-liners like "If you want to swim in YMCA's pool you have to pay first before you use the pool, Right?" I replied at least I can see through the fence and see what the pool looks like and what kinda of people are in it and around it. During that time I asked him the name of the company again and started looking for it while he try to convince me it was such a great deal. That's when I found this website and was like oh hell no. I told him that he was full of crap and hung up.

I just wanted to write this and say thanks mostly, but also to help warn people about this group of con artists.
