On August 19th I was contacted by a very kind man enticing me to obtain an Oxford Alliance mastercard with a $5,000 limit to repair my credit score. Also seeing as how I have had a few problems in the past with credit cards I thought of this as my way back in to the good standing credit community. I gave in so easily to this mans offer because he talked so smoothly and sounded like he knew exactly what he was doing to me every step of the way I barely had a chance to catch my breath when the conversation was over that I realised that I didnt even have an address to reach this company at, all I had was a toll free number and a mans name: Paul Frank.
I waited about 2 weeks and then called back several times to check on the status and repeatedly left messages to no avail, every time I called it was the same speel "all our reps are busy, please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible". Yeah Busy ripping people off! I am terribly angry at this "company" and at myself for letting them take advantage of me like this, I felt so used after I realised what happened to me. I am now going to check out suspicious companies on this website before I commit and become a victim again, thats for sure.
