I received a letter regarding a home based business opportunity for stuffing envelopes at 2.00 a piece from a Nancy Rossini and Mayflower Publishing. I noticed immediately that the stamp on the envelope had not gone through the post office. It did not have a post office mark over the stamp. This sent up red flags for me.
I read the letter and found no contact phone number for either Nancy Rossini or Mayflower Publishing. I called information for each of these and neither were listed. I then checked Mayflower Publishing and found this site telling me this was a scam to obtain my money.
At 17.00 from each indivdual scammed, these people could make a fortune. The old saying, "If it seems to good to be true, it probably is!" should be strictly adhered to when receiving this kind of unsolicited mail.
Thank you consumer complaints for saving me from sending my money to those criminals with no heart for those of us trying to make our lives better.
