False advertisement of working at home stuffing envelopes for a fictitious company

I received a letter in the mail soliciting me to "work from home" and a guarantee to make at least $800.00 a week stuffing envelopes. They want a $17.00 start up processing fee and encourage you to send cash or money order. I looked up Mayflower Publishing on the internet and found the scam reports about this. Beware if it seems too good to be true it probably is! They want you to send cash instead of a check that may be traceable back to them when they take your money and run!!
