I had an account dispute with AT&T for the amount of $539.84. I disputed that approximately $270.00 of the charges were in roaming fees that should not have been charged to do coverage with a regional calling plan.
After 2 years of dispute the matter was given to LDG agency to resolve. I finally settled the account for an amount that was basically the amount I had tried to get AT&T to accept long ago.
Now, I have Palisades Collection agency contacting me and reporting me to the credit bureau claiming the matter has been turned over to them by AT&T. After contacting LDG agency to receive confirmation of the settlement, I was informed the AT&T had recalled the account in March.
I have bank records and a transaction receipt from the online company LDG told me in writing to use. They can not tell me where my money is or why they never gave it to AT&T. So, it seems in this matter LDG is the rip-off!!! You may want to trace your palisades collection back and see if it was ever in the hands of LDG.
