The letter I just received demands 16,494.93$ be paid to NCO Financial svs, or reports will be sent to the major credit bureaus and further collection efforts will follow. This debt is alledged to be from a credit card issued by CHASE Providian and bought by NCO.
This is completely BOGUS! The card, the account, and the debt do not exist and have never existed. The pattern I see from these usacomplaints.com naming NCO is clear,
most people being targeted, myself included, have a bankruptcy in our past (10-12 yrs ago). We have rebuilt our credit to a respectable level or are in a steady rebuilding state. We appear to be vulnerable to these extortionists, as we dont want our efforts undone.
I need good legal advice as to best respond to NCO, and then to engage The authorities in the FTC, US Postal, attorney general, etc. Are there any lawyers interested in a class action case?
