Thank God for the curious minds, computers and the Internet, this website consumer complaints.com first.
I received a letter from NCO Financial Systems Inc. Which I knew was Not Right with my wife and I on Aug. 3. The nameless people and departments claimed that I had a 'Chase Providian' which was never true to begin with. They gave a untrue account number, the amount of $2,837.99 plus interest of $2,855.11 with 10% interest which came to a total of $5,693.10.
After reading the reports of other Americans on this website, who had been contacted by this NCO Financial Systems Inc. Nameless people and nameless departments I followed the advice of others. But I still have more to do. I did write a dispute letter back to them first, sent it Certified Mail and called the Federal Trade Commision to complain. Next step is writing to my state Attorney General and the Postal Inspection, maybe the media. Oh one other thing in the 90's I had a bankruptcy so you out there beware and take action, lets expose these folks. For every word they say is not true.
